An explosion in a high-rise building in Khmelnytskyi demolished three floors

On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 28, an explosion occurred in a multi-storey residential building on Ternopilska Street in Khmelnytsky. According to preliminary data, a gas explosion occurred.
This was reported by the police of the Khmelnytsky region, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Today, on October 28, at about 15:00, an explosion was heard in Khmelnytskyi on Ternopilska Street. According to preliminary information, there was an explosion of household gas,” the police said in a statement.
The top three floors were virtually destroyed. All emergency services were sent to the scene. In particular, the police investigative team, patrol policemen, experts, and dog handlers.
Information on the presence of victims is being clarified.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
