Cash withdrawals without commission: how PrivatBank’s new service works
2 February 11:53
During the blackouts, PrivatBank expanded cash access options for entrepreneurs. Throughout February 2026, Ukrainian businesses can withdraw cash without commission from Visa and Mastercard business cards directly at store checkouts when paying for goods. The bank’s press service announced the launch of the service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The decision is intended to support small and medium-sized businesses during power outages, when ATMs and branches may be unavailable.
How the new service works
The service can be used at the checkout of a retail outlet when making a purchase. The entrepreneur pays for the goods with a business card and immediately receives cash — without additional commissions.
Key conditions:
- single withdrawal limit — up to UAH 6,000;
- up to three transactions per day with a purchase;
- available even during power outages.
The format is designed for everyday business needs: small purchases, operating expenses, quick payments to suppliers or staff.
Where the service is available
The service is currently available at over 200,000 retail outlets throughout Ukraine. These include large retail chains and gas stations, such as ATB, Silpo, OKKO, and others.
PrivatBank board member Yevhen Zaigraev explained that the new option is part of a strategy to adapt financial services to wartime conditions.
“We support businesses not only with financing, but also with convenient and accessible services for everyday work. It is important for entrepreneurs to have quick access to funds without unnecessary costs and time loss. This is the goal of this initiative, which encourages more active use of business cards in everyday transactions,” he said.
What else PrivatBank offers to businesses
As a reminder, the bank has also extended free delivery of payment cards within Ukraine and abroad until the end of 2026.
Entrepreneurs can order a new card or reissue an existing one through Privat24 and receive it free of charge in more than 60 countries around the world.
