“Golden Double”: Kyiv’s “Budivelnik” Wins Women’s Basketball Super League Title
8 April 08:36The Kyiv-based “Budivelnik” secured a 72-50 road victory over Frankivsk-Prykarpattia and won the final series 2-0, becoming the new champion of the Women’s Super League, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the club’s website.
The team thus extended its winning streak. After all, the women have not lost a single game this season.
In addition, in March, Kyiv’s “Budivelnik” won the Ukrainian Cup for the second time in a row.

After a competitive first quarter, Budivelnik established a double-digit lead in the second quarter and continued to extend it. The Kyiv team led by as many as 26 points in the fourth quarter and won all four quarters of the match.
Ksenia Pankina and Anzhelika Lyashko each scored 15 points for the winners, while Kristina Filevich recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. For Frankivsk-Prykarpattia, Iryna Bugayova scored 16 points, and Bohdana Lapkhan added 15.

Budivelnik won the Ukrainian women’s championship for the first time in its history.
