Ukrainian Armed Forces strike at airfield from which Russians attack with “shaheds”

On the night of February 6, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, hit the Primorsko-Akhtarsky airfield in the Krasnodar Territory of the aggressor country Russia. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the military, the enemy uses this airfield to store, prepare and launch Shahed UAVs on the territory of Ukraine, as well as to maintain aircraft that strikes at the districts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

“One of the warehouses with Shaheds is located near the Prymorsko-Akhtarsk airfield, where the arrival took place,” said Andriy Kovalenko, head of the National Security and Defense Council’s Center for Countering Disinformation.
The hit caused a fire at the facility.
Footage was posted on the Internet showing smoke in Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, and sirens and sounds of an alleged UAV were heard.

“Strikes on the targets involved in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and terrorizing the civilian population will continue,” the General Staff assured.
