Soldiers of the 141st Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have released a video of the assault and liberation of the village of Sichenove in eastern Dnipropetrovs’k region. The unit posted the video of the operation on its official YouTube channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The territory was cleared of Russian invaders by soldiers of the Shkval assault unit. During the operation, the Ukrainian military killed about 50 Russian soldiers, and another eight surrendered.

“This operation is proof that we are not standing still. We are not only holding the line, but also confidently moving forward, liberating our territories,” the statement said.

The released footage shows Ukrainian attack aircraft moving through forested areas towards the settlement, engaging in fire with the enemy.

The video goes on to show the assault directly within the village, including the moment of the capture of one of the Russian soldiers.

Earlier, on October 4, the DeepState analytical project confirmed that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had regained control of four settlements in the Dnipro region.

Thus, the liberation of Sichneve was another confirmation that Ukrainian troops are gradually advancing, strengthening their positions in the east of the country and regaining control over the occupied territories.
