1,500 hryvnia in aid: nearly 10 million Ukrainians have already received the payments

10 April 19:34

Payments of 1,500 UAH in targeted assistance to vulnerable groups are continuing. The Pension Fund of Ukraine has already made payments to 9.7 million pensioners: for 8 million of them, the funds were transferred to bank accounts, and for 1.7 million, they are being delivered via Ukrposhta. This was reported by Government Head Yulia Svyrydenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Svyrydenko noted that payments for another 1.6 million social assistance recipients will be funded by the end of the week. All recipients will receive their payments by the end of April.

In total, 13 million people will receive the payment, she said.

As a reminder, payments of 1,500 hryvnias for vulnerable groups began on April 1. Eligible for the one-time payment are, in particular, elderly pensioners, people with disabilities, low-income families, recipients of basic social assistance, internally displaced persons receiving social benefits, large families, and single mothers.

If a person belongs to several categories of recipients at the same time, the payment will be made only once.

If you receive a pension or social assistance through “Ukrposhta”—the funds will be delivered by a mail carrier or issued at a branch along with your regular payments. You do NOT need to submit an application to the Pension Fund or apply through “Diyu.” The payment is calculated automatically.
