Agricultural workers are responsible for planting, growing, harvesting and packing our fruits and vegetables. They also play a crucial role in the production of milk and meat, meaning that all the food we eat every day is connected in some way to a farm worker.
International Day of the World’s Doctors for Peace

The organisation was founded in 1980 in France as a result of a split from another famous international organisation, Médecins Sans Frontières. Since then, large chapters of Médecins du Monde have appeared in twelve countries, including the United States, Sweden and the Netherlands.
