Andriy Pavelko released from pre-trial detention centre

The former president of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), Andriy Pavelko, has been released, according to a Kommersant Ukrainian correspondent 
Today, the Lviv Court of Appeal granted the motion of the former UAF president’s defence and released him from custody.
Pavelko has been in custody since 16 June 2023.
In February 2023, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv removed Andrei Pavelko from the post of president of the UAF until March 17 in connection with charges of allegedly embezzlement of funds from the public organization – UAF. On June 16, 2023, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Lviv decided to arrest him.
