Drone attack: damage caused by falling debris in Kyiv region

Air defense systems were operating in Kyiv region at night, targets were hit. As a result of the falling debris in two districts, 8 private houses, a garage, and an outbuilding were damaged. This was reported by Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the JFO, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Operational services continue to record the consequences of the attack.
“Doors and windows were smashed in the houses, facades and roofs were damaged,” the statement said.
At the same time, there were no hits to critical or residential infrastructure. There were no casualties.
During the night attack, Russia also tried to attack the capital. The enemy launched UAVs from different directions, in most cases singly, said Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
At night, the defenders shot down more than ten Russian drones that threatened Kyiv. The air alert in the city was announced twice during the night and lasted 4 hours in total.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that on the night of December 6, 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 53 Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of drones.
The area of drone launches is Orel in the Russian Federation.
As of 07.00, units of anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 32 enemy UAVs in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
16 drones were lost locally, and 2 left the controlled airspace in the direction of Belarus.
