Attack on Kyiv: power and water outages, Fastiv left without electricity

In some parts of the capital, there are power outages as a result of the Russian attack on the morning of November 29. The city of Fastiv, Kyiv region, is also without power.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kalashnyk.

Vitali Klitschko said that there were power outages in some parts of Kyiv. A few minutes later, he clarified that the western part of the capital is currently without electricity.

“Power engineers will work to restore power supply,” he assured.

In his turn, Mykola Kalashnyk informed that the city of Fastiv was temporarily without power as a result of the enemy attack.

“Critical infrastructure here has been switched to backup power supply. Water supply, sewerage, gas supply and communication systems are working. The steadfastness points are ready to work,” emphasized the head of the JMA.

Vitali Klitschko said that water pressure in residential buildings on the right bank of the capital has been reduced.

As a reminder, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and Kyiv region at around 23:00 on November 28. Around midnight, explosions were heard in the capital. Later, ballistics were added to the drones.

The State Emergency Service reported that as a result of the combined strike on Kyiv on the night of November 29, residential buildings were damaged.

A 14-story residential building was damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Apartments on the 4th and 5th floors were on fire.

In Solomyansky district, debris fell on a 25-story residential building. The external insulation caught fire and the facade from the 1st to the 3rd floor was partially destroyed. The parked cars were damaged. Medics treated two people on the spot.

At another address, debris fell on a 17-storey residential building, without further fire.

In Svyatoshynskyi district, a shell hit the entrance of a 3-storey residential building. A fire broke out on the 2nd floor, and rescuers saved a child.

The body of the deceased was unblocked from the rubble.

In Dniprovsky district, a 10-storey residential building was hit. 6-7 floors were destroyed. Three people were rescued from the 7th floor, including a person with limited mobility.
