How many people were killed and injured
At this time, the following official figures are cited in public reports: three fatalities, including a child, and 10 injured.
What was damaged in the city
The attack damaged:
- a residential high-rise complex;
- several private homes in various neighborhoods;
- another high-rise building;
- a private preschool;
- a store;
- dozens of cars.
In other words, the main blow once again fell on civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.
What the authorities are doing after the attack
Operational headquarters have been set up on the ground, and utility services and specialized equipment are at work.
Experts are also accepting applications from owners of damaged homes to receive assistance from the city budget and under the state program eVidnovlennia.
Why this attack is particularly significant
Odesa has previously been a regular target of Russian drone strikes, but this attack is particularly significant due to the death of a child and the large number of damaged residential buildings.
Furthermore, the combination of fatalities, serious injuries, and destruction across two districts of the city indicates that this was not an isolated strike, but a major nighttime raid with severe consequences for the civilian population.
