Russian attack on Kyiv: Roshen factory damaged

In Kyiv, a confectionery factory was damaged as a result of Russian shelling, presumably the Roshen company.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the State Emergency Service of Kyiv and People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko.
According to the State Emergency Service, the damage was recorded in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. The upper floor of the confectionery factory was damaged. One person was killed and two others were injured as a result of the attack.
At the same time, MP Oleksiy Goncharenko said that the Roshen factory was hit during the shelling. According to him, both the production and office premises of the company were damaged. The adjacent area with a skating rink and a fountain were also damaged.
Information on the extent of the damage and the number of victims is being clarified. Rescuers and emergency services are working at the scene.
The Prosecutor General’s Office also showed photos of the aftermath of the shelling of Kyiv. One of them probably shows the damaged Roshen factory.

Roshen is one of the largest confectionery companies in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. The brand is well known both domestically and abroad, and its products are sold in dozens of countries around the world. The company’s name comes from the abbreviation of the founder’s surname, Petro Poroshenko.
Russia’s night attack on Kyiv on January 24
On the night of January 24, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Kyiv, using drones and missiles. Destruction and damage were recorded in five districts of the capital.
According to preliminary data, one person was killed and at least four residents were injured as a result of the shelling. Emergency services worked at the scene.
