The company notes the appropriate and transparent conduct of business in Ukraine

In the first half of 2024, the Austrian chain of petrol stations AMIC ENERGY in Ukraine (FDI AMIC Ukraine) has demonstrated exceptional results of its activity by paying almost 1.2 billion hryvnias of taxes to budgets of all levels, Komersant ukrainskyi informs with reference to the company s message.

“This testifies not only to the stable development of the company, but also to its weighty contribution to the country’s economy.

In particular, 1.19 billion hryvnia was paid in the form of taxes on imports of oil products, and another 174 million hryvnia were tax liabilities from operating activities. Compared to the same period of 2023, the total amount of taxes paid almost tripled, which is evidence of the company’s stable development and emphasises business growth even in wartime conditions,” the statement said.

It is pointed out that the tax burden at AMIC ENERGY filling stations in the second quarter of 2024 was 1.97 hryvnia from each sold litre of fuel, which demonstrates the high level of the company’s responsibility to the state and society.

“After all, every hryvnia paid to the Ukrainian budget is a reinforcement of the AFU.

Responsibility and transparency of Ukrainian business is also reflected in the payment of payroll taxes, in particular the levy on compulsory state pension insurance, personal income tax and military levy. Thus, AMIC UKRAINE paid UAH 92.15 million in the first half of the year, which is 18.7% more than in the first half of 2023. In terms of each person working in AMIC ENERGY it is 53 326 hryvnias of these taxes”, – specified in the company.

At the same time, AMIC ENERGY’ s activity in Ukraine is not limited only to responsibility and transparency in tax payment. The company continues to systematically support the Defence and Security Forces and joins various socially important initiatives.

“Payment of taxes is not just the fulfilment of obligations to the state, it is the financing of the state’s defence capability, especially in these difficult times,” – said the press service of AMIC ENERGY – “We are proud that the sustainable development of the company, provides stable support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight against the occupier.”

Recall that for the first half of 2024, the company has provided more than 25 million hryvnias to help the affected territories of Ukraine and support the AFU. Namely, providing defenders and protectors with DJI MAVIC 3 drones under the “MAVIC by AMIC” initiative and under the “Nezlamna kava ” initiative – equipment to shelters and medical facilities in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, AMIC UKRAINE has provided support to the Government and people of Ukraine totalling 112 million UAH (as of 30.06.2024).
