Much can be decided before the New Year: Zelensky announces meeting with Trump

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will soon meet with US President Donald Trump to discuss a peace plan.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the President’s Telegram.
According to the president, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov reported to him on his regular contacts with the American side.
“We are not losing a single day. We agreed to meet at the highest level with President Trump in the near future. Much can be resolved before the New Year,” Zelenskyy said.
The US peace plan
As a reminder, Ukraine and the United States held a series of consultations during a meeting in Miami on December 19-21, during which they focused on four key documents – parts of a future peace agreement. Most points were agreed upon, but the most difficult topic remains the territorial issue.
On December 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed for the first time the content of the 20-point peace plan.
The United States said that it is possible to resolve the war in Ukraine and achieve sustainable peace there within the next 90 days. The administration of US President Donald Trump plans to put pressure on both sides – Russia and Ukraine.
Meanwhile, as the media have learned, Russia will demand changes to the latest version of the US peace plan to end the war in Ukraine. In particular, the Kremlin wants more restrictions on the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as resolving the issues of sanctions and its frozen assets.
