Left-Bank Ukraine may be left without electricity: the reason was given

Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia may be left without electricity as a result of a Russian missile and drone attack on December 25. This opinion was expressed by journalist and founder of the Nashi Hroshi project Yuriy Nikolov on his Facebook page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to him, this time the Russian occupiers managed to destroy a number of generating facilities on the left bank of Ukraine and one important energy facility in the west of our country.
“I won’t give away a military secret: (the Russians – ed.) are knocking out the remnants of energy production in the conventionally left-bank Ukraine. This means that Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia receive energy from the conditionally right-bank Ukraine, where all our nuclear power plants operate,” Nikolov wrote.
He added that the next Russian missile attack, which they could also direct at the Ukrainian energy sector, could tentatively take place in a week. This is enough time for the enemy to accumulate the necessary number of missiles. But the power generation may also come under fire on January 7, the day when Russia celebrates Christmas.
“And yes. Regardless of the strikes, the energy deficit will increase with the cold snap,” warned Yuriy Nikolov.
