Drones, AI, and anti-drone defense: TOP developments of Favbet Tech for the country’s defense

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian IT companies became natural partners of the army: they have fast teams, product expertise, and experienced engineers capable of working with modern technologies.
Favbet Tech has been cooperating with the Ukrainian Defense Forces for more than three years and is currently developing several military areas.
“Favbet Tech’s systematic support of the Ukrainian army has three key components to ensure the technological advantage of our soldiers on the battlefield – FPV drones, AI systems for reconnaissance and targeting, as well as training of units that counter enemy drones,” says Artem Skrypnyk, CEO of FAVBET Tech.
“In the unmanned segment, FAVBET Tech invests in the development and production of FPV drone hardware and software systems, which are then transferred to units to perform reconnaissance and strike missions.
In addition, FAVBET Tech specialists are working on the development of a complex with artificial intelligence technologies that increases the speed and accuracy of intelligence processing, is able to “highlight” potential targets, and simplifies the work as much as possible.
The company does not disclose the details of the project for security reasons, but emphasizes that the work is being done in close cooperation with the companies of attack UAVs. Therefore, the system is being tested in the field and finalized based on the real needs of units on the contact line.
A separate area is preparation for countering enemy drones. According to Artem Skrypnyk, Favbet Tech cooperates with airborne assault troops in this area. As part of the initiative, the company supports the supply of anti-drone “guns” and helps to create a software and operational training complex for training in detecting and suppressing UAVs.
UAVs are one of the most dangerous and widespread weapons on the battlefield today. “The task of FAVBET Tech now is to provide as many of our soldiers as possible with modern tools and skills to counter enemy birds,” says the head.
According to the company, the current engineering developments are a logical continuation of FAVBET Tech’s support for Ukraine’s defense efforts. Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, the company’s specialists have been involved in attacks on the enemy’s critical IT infrastructure and have been developing software for the needs of the Armed Forces.
The company is also a partner of the CyberPolc NGO, with which it cooperates in cyber defense, and previously funded the expansion of the Drone School of Engineering, which doubled the number of places for training military personnel in UAV assembly and repair.
FAVBET Tech is a Ukrainian IT company headquartered in Kyiv. In 2025, it was included in the TOP 50 Ukrainian IT companies according to DOU magazine. In the same year, the company co-founded the AI Committee of the IT Ukraine Association, which united leading companies in the industry around the sustainable development of artificial intelligence in Ukraine.
