Businessman Sergey Tigipko said that his business is developing successfully. He said this at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, according to "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
“We are buying a seed plant and an elevator with 40 thousand storage tons. We are building a plant in Kovel to build railcars for the European railroad. We are building a plant for processing apples from scratch into apple concentrate,”

Serhiy Tihipko is a Ukrainian politician and entrepreneur born in 1960 in the Moldavian SSR. He was educated as a metallurgical engineer and holds a PhD in economics, and had a career in the Komsomol. In independent Ukraine, Tigipko held high government positions, including deputy prime minister and chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine. In politics, he was a member of parliament, headed the Strong Ukraine party, and ran for president twice.
