1 February 15:08

Billionaire Elon Musk said that the first steps to restrict unauthorized use of the Starlink network in Russia have already yielded results. He noted that he is ready to do more.

Musk wrote about this on social network X, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The entrepreneur said that restrictions on access to Starlink in Russia had worked and asked to be informed if additional measures were needed.

“It seems that the steps we have taken to stop Russia’s unauthorized use of Starlink have worked. Let us know if more needs to be done,” the entrepreneur said.

Fedorov’s response

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov thanked the entrepreneur for his support and assured him of further cooperation.

The Minister of Digital Transformation noted that the first steps are already yielding real results. The Ukrainian side is actively cooperating with Musk’s team on the next important steps. Fedorov thanked Musk for his support, calling him “a champion of freedom and a friend of the Ukrainian people.”

As is well known, SpaceX’s Starlink plays a key role in providing communications for Ukraine during the war. Previously, the network was used for operational communications management and security support on the front lines.
