The Ukrainian brand Gasanova has created formal suits for the Ukrainian Biathlon Federation’s national team as part of their preparations for the Olympic Games.
The brand announced this on social media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The dark blue suits with architectural silhouettes and gold embroidery of Ukrainian ornaments symbolize the strength, dignity, and modern DNA of Ukraine, as noted by the brand’s team.
“The stylized Ukrainian ornament is like the tree of life: about the earth that holds us, about the branches that reach upward, about generations that do not break. Gold is about dignity. The graphics represent discipline. The symmetry represents the inner balance of a warrior. This is the code of Ukraine, transferred to fabric,” wrote Elvira Hasanova in Treads.
The athletes’ looks are complemented by footwear created in collaboration with Emmelie Delage, and Mesonia became the beauty partner of the project.
The collection was shot in Austria with the support of the president of the Ukrainian Biathlon Federation. According to the brand team, the idea behind the collaboration is to show Ukraine as a country of style, endurance, and victory on the international stage.
This collaboration is an example of how Ukrainian fashion, sports, and the beauty industry are coming together to create a holistic image of modern Ukraine for the world.
Gasanova (stylized as GASANOVA) is a brand founded by designer Elvira Gasanova in 2013 in Donetsk, known for its recognizable aesthetic style and involvement of various representatives of society in the fashion industry. Its clothes are worn by Gigi Hadid, Rita Ora, Paris Hilton, Kelly Rowland, and the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.
