Bookmakers name favorite for Ukraine’s Eurovision 2026 national selection

Bookmakers have made their predictions regarding the winner of the national selection for Eurovision 2026.

The final of the competition will take place on Saturday, February 7, when it will be announced who will represent Ukraine on the international stage in Vienna, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Bookmakers predict that Jerry Heil, who wants to represent Ukraine at Eurovision with the song Catharticus (prayer), will win the 2026 national selection.

Monokate is in second place with the song Tyt. According to bookmakers, Leleka closes the top three with the song Ridnym.

In fourth and fifth place are singer Mr. Vel with the track Do or Done and the band Molodi with the song Legends, respectively.

Next on the bookmakers’ list are Khayat, who will take the stage at the 2026 National Selection with the song Hercy, the band The Elliens with the song Crawling Whispers, and Laud, who will perform the track Lightkeeper.

Bookmakers give the lowest odds to finalists such as Valeriya Force (Open Our Hearts) and Shchukaryba (My Land).

It should be noted that bookmakers’ odds are constantly changing, and their predictions do not always coincide with the choices of the jury and viewers.

National selection for Eurovision 2026

On Saturday, February 7, the national selection for theEurovision Song Contest2026 will take place.

The final itself will begin at 7:00 p.m. Ten finalists will take the stage at the national selection, namely Valeriya Force, Molodi, Monokate, The Elliens, Laud, LELÉKA, Mr. Vel, KHAYAT, Jerry Heil, and ShchukaRiba. However, only one of them will win the hearts of the jury and viewers and earn a ticket to Vienna, where Eurovision 2026 will take place in May.

It should be noted that this year’s national selection for Eurovision 2026 will be hosted by the usual Timur Miroshnychenko and Lesya Nikityuk, who has been given this opportunity for the first time. The participants will be judged by Ruslana, winner of the 2004 song contest, singer Zlata Ognevich, composer Yevgeny Filatov, general producer of the TAVR Media media holding Vitaly Drozdov, and choreographer Konstantin Tomilchenko.
