The Czech initiative Dárek pro Putina raised more than $3.8 million in energy aid for Ukraine in just a few days.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.

“Next week, 49 generators of various capacities, collected with the support of the Czech public organization Post Bellum, will arrive in Kharkiv,” he said.

The minister added that on Sunday, January 25, 40 battery stations and 1,500 extension cords for Points of Invincibility will be delivered to the Kyiv region thanks to assistance from the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. In addition, part of the funding is aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity of the Kyiv police.

“This is an example of true solidarity. The Czech Republic is demonstrating that support for Ukraine is not just words, but concrete actions that save lives and strengthen our resilience,” Sibiga emphasized.

Energy support for Ukraine

On January 23, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced that Ukraine’s partners had announced new support packages. These include more than 6,000 units of large energy equipment and contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

In addition, two more cogeneration plants from Germany will arrive in Kyiv next week, which will simultaneously produce electricity and heat.

It should be noted that the restoration of the energy sector is continuing not only in the capital, but also in other regions. In total, 17 countries are already providing Ukraine with assistance in the form of energy equipment.
