MP Kormyshkina’s husband is suspected by NABU

The NABU and the SAPO suspect the husband of MP Iryna Kormyshkina of the Servant of the People party of legalizing property that his wife acquired illegally, as well as of failing to declare this property. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the NABU.
The NABU does not name the suspect or her husband, but reports from the NABU suggest that it is a member of the Servant of the People party, Iryna Kormyshkina.
“The NABU and the SAPO notified the husband of the current MP of Ukraine of suspicion of legalizing property that his wife had acquired illegally, as well as of failure to declare such property,” the statement said.
According to the investigation, in 2021-2022, the MP acquired property worth more than UAH 20 million, which significantly exceeded her legal income. She subsequently lent the money to her husband, who used it to buy a house in Odesa region, where the couple currently lives.
In addition, neither the MP nor her husband indicated in their declaration for 2023 the information about the mentioned house and two land plots that were in their use.
Currently, the MP has been served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 368-5 and Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Kormyshkin’s actions are currently classified under Part 2 of Article 209 and Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to which, if proven guilty, he faces imprisonment for up to eight years.
In October last year, the NABU and the SAPO served Kormyshkina with a notice of suspicion over her $20 million in assets of dubious origin.
Later, the MP was bailed out by the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim.
A few weeks ago, MP Kormyshkina was suspected of failing to declare her assets.
According to media reports, in 2023, the then Allakhverdieva married Yurii Kormyshkin, a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, and changed her surname. Kormyshkin is the owner of the PAEK agricultural holding.
At first, he was a member of the regional council from the Party of Regions. After Maidan, he was elected from the Nash Krai party. This is a now banned party headed by the traitor Andriy Derkach.
Last year, Kormyshkin resigned from the Mykolaiv Regional Council early.
