Will there be power outages in Ukraine on Easter? Ukrenergo’s response

12 April 04:06

On Sunday, April 12, no power outages are scheduled; this applies to all regions of Ukraine.

This was reported by Ukrenergo, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“No measures to restrict consumption are planned for Sunday,” the statement said.

However, Ukrenergo emphasized the period from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly during these hours.

On April 9, DTEK reported that rolling blackouts had been reinstated in Ukraine. This was due to a cold snap and increased electricity consumption.

On April 6, emergency power outages had to be implemented in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to the consequences of Russian shelling.
