On 18-19 May, about 260,000 Ukrainian citizens updated their data via the Reserve mobile application. This was stated by the spokesman for the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Lazutkin on the air of the Kyiv24.News TV channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“If we talk about the Reserve app, about the new service that was launched on 18 May and caused a great stir right away, about 260,000 Ukrainians have clarified their data, updated their data in essence,”

– Lazutkin said.

The Ministry of Defence representative added that 80 times more people updated their data through the Reserve app than through the Administrative Service Centres (ASCs).

At the same time, there are no final statistics on the territorial recruitment centres, as the process is ongoing and citizens update their data.

“80 times more than in ASCs. There are no final statistics on TACs yet. People are coming, data is being updated,”

– Lazutkin said.

He also stressed that the Reserve has now been launched worldwide.

Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation, spoke about the new achievements of the Reserve app for people liable for military service, its availability abroad and future updates.

“Reserve is now available in markets in 176 countries! As promised, we have implemented the ability to update data from most countries. From any location,”

– Chernogorenko wrote on Facebook.

She added that the developers continue to work to eliminate bugs. In the next updates, they plan to add a military registration document with a QR code and recruitment to the Reserve. This will make it possible to view available vacancies in the Defence Forces and submit applications.

It should be noted that the updated law on mobilisation came into force on 18 May. All men aged 18-60 have 60 days – until 16 July inclusive – to update their registration details.

The Ministry of Defence launched the mobile application “Reserve” for persons liable for military service, conscripts and reservists on 18 May, after the updated law on mobilisation came into force.
