The DBR handed over helicopters and airplanes of Crimean businessmen to ARMA

Four Mi-2 helicopters and two AN-2 aircraft were handed over to the National Asset Detection Agency. The aircraft belonged to Crimean businessmen exposed in the financing of the war. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyiKomersant.Info with reference to the State Bureau of Investigation.
Earlier, Komersant ukrainskyiKomersant.Info reported that in the Cherkasy region, prosecutors arrested four helicopters and two planes belonging to Crimean businessmen involved in financing Russia’s war against Ukraine.
In January 2024, the SBI notified 9 entrepreneurs registered on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea who are engaged in recreational and agro-industrial entrepreneurship on suspicion of financing actions committed with the aim of changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
They did business in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and paid taxes to the aggressor country, financing the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
The investigation established that they owned helicopters and airplanes on the controlled territory of Ukraine. In order to prevent their re-registration as bogus persons, the court arrested them at the prosecutor’s request.
In February 2024, suspicion was announced against nine Ukrainian entrepreneurs registered on the territory of Crimea. They are engaged in recreational and agro-industrial entrepreneurship.
In order to block the movable assets and prevent their re-registration to fictitious persons, in order to avoid further confiscation of property, at the request of the prosecutor, the helicopters and airplanes belonging to the company were seized. These are 4 Mi-2 (MiI-2) aircraft and 2 AN-2 (Antonov-2) aircraft.



The funds will be used to purchase bonds of the internal state loan “Military Bonds”.
