Istanbul will remain the venue for the third round of negotiations on the settlement of the conflict between the Russian and Ukrainian sides.
This was reported by a source in the Russian media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Istanbul is an acceptable platform,” the source said, answering a question about the venue for the next round of talks.
on July 19, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov had proposed that Russia hold a new round of talks next week. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the negotiation dynamics should be increased and everything should be done to cease fire.
Zelenskyy also added that the agreements reached should be consolidated by a meeting at the level of leaders. According to him, Ukraine is ready for such a meeting.
