DeepState reports on fierce fighting in Toretsk, while the General Staff denies breaking through the border in Sumy region

In Toretsk, active fighting continues with very close contact, where units of the Defense Forces are fighting for literally every house, or even a room in a house. This is stated in a report by DeepState, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
It is noted that the enemy continues to assault along Druzhby Street and Vasyl Stus Street in the city center. It has had some success. In addition, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the mine of the State Enterprise “Toretskugol”. Several times the enemy was spotted on the mine’s spoil heaps.
Very active fighting continues in the Zabalka neighborhood in the south of Toretsk. The enemy is infiltrating the neighborhood and trying to gain a foothold there with infantry forces to further control the area and advance.
At the same time, DeepState quotes Anastasia Bobovnikova, a spokeswoman for the Luhansk military command, who notes that “it is impossible to say which part of Toretsk is controlled by Ukrainian troops and which by the Russian army.”
DeepState agrees, as active contact fighting is taking place in the city. In addition, enemy observation posts are present in the rear of the Defense Forces, and Ukrainian observation posts are in theirs.
DeepState also reported today that the enemy advanced near Novooleynivka, Voznesenka, Plekhovo, Oleksandria, Hrodivka, Vidrodzhennia, Sontsivka, Novotroitske and Shevchenko.
By the way, Deep State’s information that the Russians allegedly managed to seize territory near the border village of Oleksandria in Sumy region has already been denied twice.
The spokesman for the General Staff, Major Dmytro Lykhoviy, said that the information that Russians occupied almost 2 square kilometers of Sumy region is not true.
Also, the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, said that “border guard units in that direction within their area of responsibility and positions they hold did not record any attempts by Russian units to enter the territory of Ukraine.”
“There was also no information from other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces located in that area,” said the SBGS spokesman.
According to him, it is not profitable for the occupiers to advance in this area, as it is a swampy area.
What else is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
As of this morning, the enemy conducted six offensives in the Kharkiv sector in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
The number of combat engagements in the Kupyansk sector reached seven over the last day. Defense forces repelled occupants’ attacks in the vicinity of Lozova and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman sector, our troops stopped 14 enemy attacks. The invaders concentrated their main efforts in the areas of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Nadiya, Makiivka, Torske and Yampolivka.
Two attempts of the invaders to advance near Chasovyi Yar and Orikhovo-Vasylivka were stopped by Ukrainian troops in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy tried to advance eight times in the areas of Toretsk, Shcherbynivka and Nelipivka.
Fifty-one attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk sector over the last day. Enemy troops are most active near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Dachanske, Chumatske and Shevchenko.
Defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the Kurakhove sector. In the areas of Sontsivka, Staryi Terny, Zorya, Dalne, Dachne and Kurakhove, the occupants tried to break through Ukrainian defenses 40 times.
Twenty-seven enemy attacks were stopped by our defenders in the direction of Kostiantynopil, Novosilka and near Sukhi Yaliv, Storozheve, Neskuchne and Blahodatne in the Vremivsk sector.
The enemy made seven unsuccessful attempts to seize the positions of our defenders in the Prydniprovskyi sector over the past day.
