Ukraine’s delegation goes to the US for talks on the “drone deal”

Ukrainian delegation travels to the US for a meeting on joint drone production. The parties will discuss technical issues. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense in a commentary to Suspilne, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The delegation is headed by Deputy Defense Minister Serhiy Boyev.
According to sources, the meeting will address technical aspects of future cooperation.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he and his American counterpart Donald Trump have an agreement to purchase weapons from the United States through various programs. All technical meetings on the agreement will be held by the Ukrainian delegation in the United States from late September to early October.
They also discussed the drone deal: “Technical teams are starting to work on this agreement. These are our drones that will be purchased directly by the United States of America.”
In July, the President said that Ukraine would sign a large-scale contract with the United States for the supply of combat drones, worth between $10 and $30 billion.
