The state budget received UAH 480 million from the sale of the Kozatsky Hotel

The State Property Fund has completed the sale of the Kozatsky Hotel in the centre of Kyiv. The amount of UAH 480,001,200 received from the sale was fully transferred to the state budget. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the SPFU.

The winning bidder paid in 7 tranches, completing the last payment on 6 August. The cost of the property was UAH 400,001,000, VAT was UAH 80,000,200, and the payables to the budget were repaid in the amount of UAH 9,087,000.

“The successful small-scale privatisation auction proves once again that the sale of such facilities is timely. The renovated facility will attract more visitors to the capital and contribute to the development of the tourism industry,” said Vitaliy Koval, Head of the SPFU.

As a reminder, three companies took part in the competitive bidding for the Kozatsky Hotel: Nadiya Agricultural LLC, which won with the highest price offer, Inzhur LLC, which offered UAH 400 million, and Bashta Development LLC with a bid of UAH 385 million 555 thousand.

What is known about Kozatsky Hotel

“Kozatsky is a three-star hotel on Mykhailivska Street, with its facade facing Independence Square. This eight-storey building, built in 1983, is located on a 0.24-hectare plot of land with the right of permanent use.

The total area of the hotel is 9513 sq. m. It has 135 rooms in seven categories: from economy to de luxe, a cafe-coffee shop, a restaurant, five conference and banqueting rooms, and a car park.

on 18 July, online bidding for the sale of the Kozatsky Hotel took place. The price increased almost 2.6 times. Three bidders took part in the auction. The winner was Nadiya Agricultural LLC.

The main activity of Nadiia LLC is the breeding of dairy cattle, according to YouControl data. The company’s revenue for 2023 was UAH 434 million, according to the analytical portal.
