The Verkhovna Rada has obliged state-owned enterprises and state-owned companies to publish financial statements for the period of martial law. The corresponding amendment was included in the bill No. 6013, which was adopted in the second reading the day before. This is reported on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs.
According to the amendment, Business Censor writes that state-owned enterprises, business entities with more than 50% of their authorized capital owned by the state or another business entity with more than 50% of its authorized capital owned by the state must publish annual financial statements and annual consolidated financial statements, together with the relevant audit reports, in full within six months from the date of entry into force of this law for the entire period during which the statements were not made public.
At the same time, state-owned enterprises and companies in the defense industry are exempted from this provision for the duration of martial law.
As you know, after the start of the full-scale invasion, all Ukrainian companies were allowed not to publish their reports for the period of martial law and three months after its completion.
The relevant provision was enshrined in the Law “On Protection of the Interests of Subjects of Submission of Reports and Other Documents during Martial Law or a State of War”. It stipulated that “individuals, individual entrepreneurs, legal entities, except for those vested with budgetary powers under the law, shall submit accounting, financial, accounting, settlement, audit reports and any other documents required to be submitted in accordance with the applicable law in documentary and/or electronic form within three months after the termination or cancellation of martial law or a state of war for the entire period of failure to submit reports or the obligation to submit documents,
