Business formalization: official revenue rose by nearly 23%

In March, 555 billion hryvnias in revenue passed through cash registers and software-based cash registers, which is 22.9% more than in March of last year.

In March 2026, 555 billion hryvnias in revenue passed through registered cash registers and software-based cash registers. This is 22.9% more than in March of last year (451.7 billion hryvnias).
In monetary terms, the increase amounted to 103.3 billion hryvnias, indicating significant progress toward de-shadowing, tax officials note.
Average daily revenue rose to UAH 17.9 billion, compared to UAH 14.6 billion last year. Thus, the daily increase amounted to UAH 3.3 billion.
The State Tax Service adds that positive trends are also observed in the number of payment documents:
Over the month, 932.9 million receipts were issued—9% more than in March 2025 (77.3 million), with an average daily volume of 30.1 million receipts, which is 2.5 million more than a year ago.

In February, the total volume of revenue processed through cash registers and software-based cash registers decreased by 23.9 billion hryvnias (5.2%) compared to January.
Last year, official transactions increased by nearly a third; in total, 10.4 trillion receipts were generated in 2025.
It was previously reported that in Ukraine, the total amount of revenue processed through POS/software POS systems in 2024 increased by 35% compared to 2023—from 3,283.2 billion hryvnias to 4,440.6 billion hryvnias.
