Up to 16 thousand UAH per child: who can receive funds for summer recuperation

Some families in Ukraine can receive money for a child’s health improvement. We are talking about the amount of 15,980 hryvnyas. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the government portal.
The programme is aimed at supporting children aged 6 to 18 years. The following categories can get help:
- children with disabilities who are brought up in low-income families;
- children from large low-income families.
How to use the programme?
Parents, whose children can be recuperated at the expense of the state, will receive a corresponding notification in “Dii”, the application “PrivatBank” or from the employees of social protection.
If there are no data on the child, you can apply to the nearest branch of the Pension Fund to register children for the status of “Child of a large family”. Then it is necessary to open a card with a special mode of use for the health improvement programme in the branch of “PrivatBank”.
After crediting the funds, it is necessary to choose an institution for the child’s recuperation. The whole list can be found at the link .
