Kyiv Digital app searches for free parking spaces: how it works

The city’s Kyiv Digital app has launched a service for finding free parking spaces. This was announced by the head of Kyiv’s digital transformation, Petro Olenych, Kommersant Ukrainian reports 
The service is currently available at 54 sites in the first parking zone. Cameras are installed there to record occupancy and transmit information.
“Kyiv has become the first city in Ukraine and one of the few in the world with such a service in municipal car parks,”
– said Olenych.
How to find free parking in the capital
You need to open the map of car parks in the Kyiv Digital app to check for free spaces.
They will be displayed as follows:
Green colour – more than 70% of spaces are free;
Yellow – 40-70% of the spaces are available;
Red – the last seats are available;
Grey – all seats are occupied.
