Rain and sleet: weather forecast for May 15

Today, May 15, weather conditions will deteriorate significantly in a number of Ukrainian regions. In particular, strong gusts of wind and rain are expected in some regions. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
“A cyclone centered over Lithuania will cause a drop in atmospheric pressure, increased wind gusts in the Carpathians, and in the afternoon in Ukraine, except for the northwest and southeast, up to 15-22 m/s, in the western and northern regions there will be rain (in the Carpathians there will be heavy rain in the afternoon, sometimes with sleet),” the report says.
In the rest of the country, on May 15, light rains will not be everywhere, and in the south they are unlikely. In particular, the southwesterly wind will bring warmer air, only in the western regions it will get colder during the day.
On Thursday, May 15, the temperature at night in Ukraine is expected to be 5…10 °C. During the day, it will be slightly warmer – 14… 19 °C.
In most western regions, the temperature will warm up to 8…13 °C on May 15. In the Carpathians, it will be 1…6 °C during the day.
