State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” sold timber worth almost UAH 30 billion: who is the biggest buyer?

According to the results of 2025, the state-owned enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” sold timber worth almost UAH 30 billion. The rating of the largest buyers was headed by the company “Tsunami,” which was the only one to spend more than UAH 1 billion on purchases.
This was reported by the press service of the company “Forests of Ukraine.”
The timber market in Ukraine
Tsunami was the only market participant that spent over UAH 1 billion on timber purchases. Three other leading wood processing companies — Swiss Krono, Ukrainian Sawmills, and Odek Ukraine — purchased timber worth over UAH 900 million each.
Six market participants also recorded purchases worth over UAH 500 million:
- Brenvel LLC;
- Typhoon-Plus;
- UHLK LLC;
- FOP Krupsky Roman Andriyanovich;
- Kronospan Rivne LLC;
- Kronospan UA LLC.
In terms of product types, Tsunami, Typhoon-Plus, and Roman Andriyanovich Krupsky specialize in purchasing oak.
Ukrainian Sawmills, Brenvel, and UHLK are the largest players in the commercial pine segment.
Odek Ukraine holds a leading position in the alder and birch segment, which are used for plywood production. At the same time, Swiss Kronospan, Kronospan Rivne, and Kronospan UA mainly purchase firewood, specializing in the production of board products, in particular chipboard (MDF).
