The Ukrainian company UDD (Ukrainian Defense Drones Tech Corp) has been included in the list of 11 companies selected for further orders for the US Army. This is evidenced by the results of the Drone Dominance Program competition.
According to "Komersant Ukrainian", this follows from the Gauntlet I results published on the program’s website.
What is known about the Drone Dominance Program
The Drone Dominance Program is a new Pentagon program for the accelerated procurement of small strike drones for US combat units.
The program’s official website states that it is a two-year, $1 billion plan, and by 2027, the program intends to purchase more than 200,000 drones.
Large-scale drone deliveries
The Pentagon also stated that tens of thousands of drones are to be delivered in 2026 and hundreds of thousands by 2027 as part of this initiative.
The program notes that companies were evaluated based on their performance in Gauntlet I, assessments by military operators, as well as production capabilities and supply chain capacity.
Based on the results of this stage, the program selected 11 best participants to receive orders in the future.
As stated in the official announcement from the test directors, drones are selected not based on formal requirements “on paper,” but on how they performed during missions.
As previously reported, in the previous selection stage, there were two Ukrainian companies among the 25 participants in the competition: UDD and General Cherevnya.
Only one Ukrainian company, UDD, made it to the final list of 11 suppliers.
The participation of two Ukrainian manufacturers in the initial selection was previously reported by specialized media.
