Rescuers of the State Emergency Service continue to eliminate the consequences of an enemy ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the SES.
On April 6, 2025, Kyiv came under another shelling, which affected the Obolon district. Rescuers of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv responded promptly to the call and immediately began work to eliminate the consequences.
Throughout the night, SES personnel were engaged in clearing the rubble and shedding structures that could have caused further damage or fire.
“Kyiv: work continues in Obolon district. Rescuers are dismantling and shedding rubble. Emergency workers were involved all night in eliminating the consequences of the morning shelling that occurred on April 6,” the statement said.
As a reminder, Russian invaders attacked Kyiv on the night of April 6, using various types of missiles. Thus, at night, the Russian army launched cruise missiles to strike the capital of Ukraine, and explosions were heard in Kyiv, and air defense systems continued to operate.

Later, the Kyiv authorities said that three people were injured in the Russian missile attack, and fires were reported in several districts.
It also became known that a fire and destruction of a building occurred in Kyiv’s Obolon district as a result of a Russian missile attack.
As a result of Russia’s ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on the night of Sunday, April 6, the buildings housing the editorial offices of the state-owned Multimedia Broadcasting Platform of Ukraine channels were heavily damaged : Freedom, Dim, UATV English, The Gaze, UATV Español, UATV Arabic, UATV Português, the digital editorial office, and service departments.
