Junior Eurovision 2024: Ukraine to perform at number 14

Ukraine’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest2024, 12-year-old Arem Kotenko, will perform in the final of the contest in November at number 14. This is reported on the website of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The contest will be opened by a performance from Italy, and the show will close with a performance from Malta.

In the final of the competition, Artem will perform the song “Home”, with which he won the National Selection. It is dedicated to the theme of home as a place of strength and warm feelings. It tells about the importance of having a place that gives a sense of comfort and security, especially for Ukrainians who have lost or left their homes because of the war.
What we know about Artem Kotenko
Kotenko is from the city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region. He began singing at the age of 3, and at 5 he started taking professional vocal lessons. In 2021, the boy won the Black Sea Games, and in 2023 he was shortlisted for the National Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
In addition to singing, he is passionate about choreography, piano and theatre. Artem also has experience in hosting city events and participated in a charity telethon.
the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Madrid on 16 November. In 2023, Ukraine’s representative Anastasia Dymyd took fifth place, and the winner of the contest was Zoe Closure from France with her song Cœur.
