Russia may have problems with its strategic aviation, as the Russian Armed Forces have recently been attacking Kyiv exclusively with ballistic missiles. This opinion was expressed by aviation expert Anatoly Khrapchinsky on the air of the national telethon on Monday, 19 August, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to him, the enemy cannot use the available missiles in large numbers.
“The arrival of Korean missiles to Russia has allowed them to work more actively with ballistic missiles. At first, they launch weak, less technologically advanced missiles to overload air defence systems, and then they use their Iskanders, which are somewhat better than these missiles. And here, the combination of attacks is more about ballistic missiles,” Khrapchynsky explained.
In addition, according to the expert, the interval between enemy attacks has increased significantly – they occur approximately once every six days.
“Once every six days, we are talking about the use of ballistic missiles. It should be noted here that the interval between the use of strategic aircraft with cruise missiles has increased by a whole month. This is due to the fact that Russia is trying to carry out massive shelling, but the number of opportunities is significantly reduced,” he explained.
Khrapchynskyi clarified that such interruptions are due to the accumulation of resources on the part of Russia, as well as difficulties in obtaining elements for weapons.
