“Epicenter opened a new shopping center in Obukhiv

The first Epicenter shopping center in Obukhiv (Kyiv region) opened on September 20, the company’s press service reported, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The opening of the new Epicenter shopping center in Obukhiv is of great social importance for the community. The launch of the facility will create about 300 new jobs, which will contribute to the development of the city’s economy and support local residents. Customers will have access to modern retail infrastructure and convenient shopping for all possible product groups under one roof. And the local budget will be able to count on additional revenues of tens of millions of hryvnias in taxes annually thanks to the new shopping center,” said Petro Mykhailyshyn, CEO of Epicenter K.
The total area of the three-storey shopping center at 27 Kyivska Street is more than 26 thousand square meters, which will allow to present all the innovative shop-in-shop concepts developed by the Epicenter chain. In particular, a spacious 1.8 thousand square meters Food Market with its own food court has been opened here, where customers will be able not only to buy all the necessary products, but also to enjoy ready-made dishes from different cuisines of the world.
In addition to the grocery store, the first floor of the mall houses the Center of Technology (CETE), AutoMall, Pharmacy 100, Bouquet florist center and departments with a wide range of goods for construction, repair and decoration of homes. On the second floor, there is a DECO gallery, Furniture Center, Ceramics Center, Garden Center, All4Rest leisure goods, Studio of Light, Epic children’s store, Intersport sports supermarket, Lapki pet store, etc.
Later, the mall is planning to open the Epiland family entertainment center. It will be the third facility for the chain in the capital region after the children’s parks launched in Kyiv (Epicenter on Polyarna) and in Chabany (Odeske Shosse, 9).
According to the release, the total assortment of goods in the mall includes almost 90 thousand items. In addition, services will be available: Keymaster, a format and cutting department, a bank branch, and the Multiservice network for dry cleaning and repair of clothes and shoes.
The new shopping center also has a 1500 sq. m. Drive in Arena, where you can drive a car, choose the goods you need and immediately load them into the car.
The mall has a parking lot for 220 cars with locations for recharging electric cars from the E1 network. There is also an underground parking lot, which will serve as a shelter for more than 2 thousand people during air raids.

Before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Epicenter chain included more than 80 shopping centers in all regions of the country. The new shopping center will become the 72nd operating Epicenter shopping center in Ukraine and the 16th in Kyiv region.
As a result of the full-scale invasion, eight Epicenter shopping centers were completely destroyed. Despite the significant losses, the retailer not only continues to invest in the economy, but also allocates a significant portion of its resources to support the country. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops, Epicentr has allocated more than UAH 8 billion to help Ukraine.
