The Estonian government is considering sending its military to Ukraine to assist Ukrainian troops. This was was stated minister of Defence of Estonia Hanno Pevkur in a commentary to Polish Radio, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".

The idea is that the Estonian military should come to Ukraine as instructors.

But so far, no such decision has been made, as many factors need to be taken into account, including the safety of the instructors.

The Minister also noted that the decision to send troops to Ukraine should be made by consensus of NATO member states.

“We need to take into account all the details: force protection measures, as well as logistics. That’s why we are now continuing training in Poland and the UK. We will see how this topic develops,” Pevkur said.

At the same time, he said that the allies are making every effort to ensure that Ukraine can win the war.
