The State Property Fund has put up Nepolokovets Bread Products Plant for privatization: what is known

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU ) has announced a new online auction for the privatization of Nepolokovets Bread Products Plant, a large enterprise in the Chernivtsi region.
This is reported on the Fund’s website, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Are you looking for an object with real potential? This is a ready-made business in an important industry!” the SPFU said in an announcement.
The initial sale price is UAH 215.7 million (excluding VAT).
What is on offer
A single property complex is offered for sale, which includes:
- 129 real estate objects with a total area of more than 41.5 thousand square meters – from production workshops to warehouses
- 1172 units of movable property and 24 units of transport and special equipment, including trucks, tractors and diesel locomotives;
- 19.8 hectares of registered land plots that are part of the company’s complex.
“This is not just a sale, it is an opportunity to lead production in the flour and cereals industry and become a player in the grain and logistics market,” the Fund notes.
Social conditions
One of the privatization conditions is to retain the workforce for six months after the sale.
The company currently employs 45 specialists, whom the SPFU calls “an experienced team ready to continue working.”
The new owner must also pay off the company’s debts to employees and the state.
This is not the first attempt to privatize the company
In 2024, the State Property Fund already announced an auction with a starting price of UAH 217.4 million, but the sale did not take place.
The SPFU is actively continuing the program of privatization of state-owned elevators and bakery plants.
Last year, it successfully sold Okhtyrka Bakery in Sumy region for UAH 49.7 million.
“Nepolokovets Bakery is one of the key grain infrastructure facilities in western Ukraine, located near transport corridors to Romania and the EU.
The State Property Fund expects that the new investor will be able to modernize production and increase exports of grain and flour.
The auction is to be held on the Prozorro.Sale online platform in the near future.
