Private entrepreneurs without bureaucracy: how the new automatic payment service from NovaPay and OLX works

NovaPay financial institution in cooperation with OLX marketplace has launched a service for automatic crediting of cash on delivery to the accounts of individual entrepreneurs. The new solution allows sellers to receive funds directly to the account of an individual entrepreneur immediately after the buyer pays for the order at a Nova Poshta branch, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports citing the company’s press service.
The mechanism provides for automatic distribution of payments: the system deducts the commission of the OLX platform, and the seller receives net income without additional actions. This eliminates the need to manually make payments or transfer commissions separately, which significantly reduces the number of routine operations and increases the transparency of payments.
The service is available to all entrepreneurs who have a sole proprietorship account with NovaPay and have signed the relevant agreement.
What do entrepreneurs get
Thanks to the new functionality, sellers on OLX can conveniently work with cash on delivery:
- issue invoices in their own account;
- track order statuses;
- monitor the receipt of funds in real time.
This way, entrepreneurs focus on sales and business development rather than financial bureaucracy.

OLX also sees the service as a strategic advantage. “Convenience of work for entrepreneurs directly affects conversion and sales.
It is important for us that sellers have not only access to a large audience but also modern business management tools. Automatic crediting of cash on delivery makes the process transparent and simple: the system deducts the commission itself, and the entrepreneur immediately receives net income,” said Oleksandr Madzigon, Head of the Goods category at OLX Ukraine.

Cash on delivery remains one of the most popular payment methods in Ukrainian e-commerce, especially among shoppers who want to minimize the risks of online shopping. According to market data, more than half of the transactions in the C2C and small business segments are made through this mechanism.
At the same time, for entrepreneurs, the process was often accompanied by additional time spent on transferring funds and paying commissions. The new integration of NovaPay and OLX offers to solve this problem by offering an automated system with transparent calculations.
The launch of the new functionality can become an incentive for even more active participation of small businesses in online trading.
