He announced this on his Facebook page, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The decision was easy
“I won’t say that the decision was difficult. It wasn’t. My love for Prozorro.Sales is irrational. Eight years ago, I really wanted to join a young, ambitious project with unclear prospects, where just over ten people were working at the time. I didn’t fully understand why I wanted all of this. But I really wanted to. Now, with the same intensity, I want to leave,” But said.
According to him, since December 2025, he has focused on ensuring that any potential transfer of power takes place under conditions of maximum stability and predictability.
But reported that currently, the company JSC “Prozorro.Sales” has the highest revenue and net profit in its history.
“Critical needs for the uninterrupted operation of the electronic trading system, such as hosting and development, have been contracted for 5–7 months in advance. This is also an unprecedented situation. An additional factor of stability is that we remain profitable in the first quarter of 2026. At least three profitable quarters are projected ahead,” But emphasized.
He said he had received an interesting offer regarding his future professional development and plans to take on certain tasks of national importance outside of “Prozorro.Sales.”
But added that the supervisory board will select the company’s new head.
Prozorro.Sale
Prozorro.Sale is a state-run electronic trading system created to conduct online auctions for the sale and lease of assets. Unlike the classic Prozorro system, through which the state purchases goods and services, the Prozorro.Sale platform is used to sell and lease state and municipal property.
Serhiy But became the head of Prozorro.Sale in 2023.
