Head of SAPO Klymenko declares record salary for December: almost UAH 765 thousand

The head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Klymenko, declared almost UAH 765 thousand in salary for December 2025. The relevant data are contained in the report on significant changes in property status, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The salary has increased several times
The amount of the December payment is significantly higher than the previous accruals.
The salary received at the main place of work amounted to UAH 764,435.
For comparison:
- in November, Klymenko’s salary was just over UAH 152 thousand;
- in October – about UAH 161 thousand.
Thus, the December payment was a record and increased several times compared to the previous months. The increase in revenues occurred against the backdrop of the high-profile investigation of the so-called Midas case, which has already attracted public attention.
Total income for 2024
According to the declaration, in 2024, Oleksandr Klymenko:
- received UAH 3.7 million in salary from the SAPO;
- an additional UAH 1.4 million to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Owned by the head of the SAPO:
- a room of 18.5 sq. m;
- a land plot in the village of Dmytrivka, Kyiv region.
Klymenko’s wife has the right to use a 78-square-meter apartment in Kyiv owned by Oleksandr Laptii free of charge; since 2022, she has been renting a 14-square-meter parking space in the capital.
Cars and savings
Oleksandr Klymenko does not own a car, but he uses a 2012 Volkswagen CC owned by Oksana Rakitina.
His wife owns a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman.
The official’s financial assets include:
- over UAH 3 million in bank accounts;
- more than 112 thousand US dollars in cash.
