The issue of military voting in elections is not an easy one, but it has a solution. And Ukraine has experience in this matter. This was stated by Oleh Didenko, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, in an interview with "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the official, the CEC pays a lot of attention to this issue. There are practically no problems with voting in hospitals, as the law provides for the establishment of polling stations in medical institutions.

As for the places of deployment, the main task, according to Didenko, is to establish monitoring of the electoral process.

“We plan to use the mechanisms that were used in 2014. Back then, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Defense, special polling stations were set up in the places where military personnel were deployed. The main issue is to ensure proper observation at military polling stations,”

– said the CEC Chairman.

According to him, this is a complex task that requires further elaboration, so the commission is working on it.
