Thunderstorms, rain and heat: weather forecast for July 12

Over the weekend, the weather in Ukraine will again be quite contrasting. The hottest regions will be Luhansk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovs’k, Zaporizhzhia, part of Kherson and the steppe part of Crimea. The temperature is expected to reach 33 to 38 degrees. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
However, the western regions have a completely different thermal picture. The temperature there will be 21-25 degrees.
“In the northern part of Ukraine, the weather promises a comfortable summer break from the heat, 24-28 degrees during the day. In the central regions, the temperature is expected to reach 22 24 degrees in Vinnytsia region, 25 29 degrees in Cherkasy and Poltava regions, 26 30 degrees in Kropyvnytskyi and its districts, and 30 35 degrees in Dnipropetrovs’k region. In the southern part on Saturday, the temperature will be 30-33 degrees, in Zaporizhzhia and in the steppe part of Crimea – 33-37 degrees,” the statement said.
According to Didenko, rains with thunderstorms will be held on July 12 in some places in the western regions, as well as in the afternoon – in Sumy, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovs’k regions.
The rest of Ukraine will be free of precipitation.
In Kyiv, on July 12, the weather will be dry for most of the day, with rain and thunderstorms on Saturday evening. On Sunday, the weather situation in Ukraine will not change much.
