Iran wants to attack US company offices and banks: who could be targeted

The situation in the Middle East is rapidly escalating. Recent statements by official Tehran indicate that not only military targets but also the offices of leading global technology companies and banks may now be targeted. The country has already attacked Amazon’s servers and has now added new high-profile names to its list of targets.

Employees of international corporations and financial institutions are on high alert due to these new serious risks. This was reported by CNN, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Who could be targeted

According to information released by the Iranian state agency Tasnim, the list of potential targets has expanded significantly. Regional offices of the largest American tech giants are now under threat.

In particular, this includes the offices and critical infrastructure of companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia, IBM, Oracle, and Palantir. These facilities are located not only in Israel but also in major business centers in Western Asia, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Tehran argues that this change in strategy is due to the regional conflict transforming into a so-called “infrastructure war.” From Iran’s point of view, commercial technology centers are now considered legitimate targets because they allegedly support the digital and military ecosystems of their opponents. This indicates an intention to strike at the economic hubs that sustain the region and support the operational capabilities of the US and Israel.

Banks are also being targeted

The fate of the financial sector is of particular concern. Iran’s military command has announced that, following the incidents involving Iranian banks, they are considering strikes against US and Israeli banking institutions and economic centers in the region.

This poses a direct threat to financial hubs in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Local residents in Middle Eastern countries are already being advised to avoid staying within a 1-kilometer radius of such facilities to minimize potential civilian casualties.
