IT giant in Ukraine EPAM Systems acquires new business

The owner of the largest IT company in Ukraine, EPAM Systems, is buying a business in the UK for $300 million. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the company’s press release of the company.

The deal is expected to allow EPAM to expand its AI services to clients in the banking and capital markets in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

“We are excited to expand our financial services portfolio and diversify our global presence in key regions with First Derivative’s deep expertise in capital markets, banking and asset servicing,” said Balazs Feyesh, President of Global EPAM.

EPAM Systems is an American IT company, custom software developer, consulting specialist, and resident of the Belarusian High-Tech Park. The company is headquartered in Newtown and has offices in 25 countries.

In 2013, the company was included in Forbes’ lists of the 25 Fastest Growing Tech Companies in America and the 20 Fastest Growing Tech Stars in America.

In 2021, EPAM Systems, together with Mars Incorporated, were announced as winners in the Leader of the Pack: Retail” category of the Acquia Engage Award 2021. The awards in this category recognise digital solutions and products that are distinguished by a high level of functionality, integration, performance and user friendliness.
