According to the results of the competition, Iryna Spichak has been appointed to the position of head of the NABU Internal Control Department with a probationary period of one year. This is stated in the Bureau’s response published on the Access to Truth portal, according to

“Competition Commission No. 1 has determined the winner of the competition and recommended to the Director of the National Bureau for appointment to the vacant position of “Head of the Internal Control Department” of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Iryna Viktorivna Spichak, with a probationary period of one year.
As of today, Iryna Viktorivna Spichak has been appointed to the position of Head of the Internal Control Department of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine as the winner of the competition,” the Bureau clarified.
At the same time, according to former SAPO prosecutor Stanislav Bronevitsky, it was Spichak who signed the suspicion against businessman Timur Mindich the day before, while the competition itself “was held as quickly as possible.”
“Only three months. Department heads are selected for a minimum of six months. It is worth recalling my prediction that after some time, only one prosecutor and one detective would remain in the Midas case. Almost 1.5 months after the notification of suspicion, the case lost its main detective,” Bronetsky noted.
The fact that the notification of suspicion to Mindich was signed by Iryna Spichak is also evidenced by the text of the suspicion itself, which was published by journalist Volodymyr Boiko (if this document is genuine, ed.).
